Description

For labs that are classified Bio-Contaminant Level 3 Hazard Areas, Medpharm manufactures

special BSL3 effluent sterilizers. These systems offer many of the features of a standard small

capacity or cGMP unit but also utilize a filtration system that prevents harmful pathogens and

viruses from exiting the sterilizer prior to being fully sterilized.

Standard steam sterilization cycles exhaust through a heated 0.2 um hydrophobic filter in order

to prevent pathogens and viruses from exiting the sterilizer during the exhaust and vacuum

phases of the sterilization cycles and prior to fulfilling sterilization time and temperature settings.

Our BSL3 effluent sterilizers also feature cross-contamination interlocks such as "pass through"

double doors in order to prevent cross-contamination from clean to dirty sides of the autoclave.

Competitive Advantage

The F0 Cycle calculates the sterilization time based on load temperature and duration exposed.These calculations are based on predetermined set points. The result is reduced exposure time. It ensures the sterilization effect.
